Restaurant

Our restaurant showcases the best of traditional Italian cooking with a modern twist.

We serve Neopolitan-style pizzas, made using carefully sourced local ingredients coupled with traditional products from Naples, such as our dough made from Dallagiovana 00 flour.

We also offer seasonal starters, your favourite classic pasta dishes and decadent Italian desserts.

Cafe

Experience a dedication to doing food the right way! When we say "from scratch", we mean it! We make everything ourselves; from the sourdough for brunch to the pesto used in our panini and focaccia sandwiches.

Making everything ourselves means we don't have to use ultra-processed foods, preservatives or additives. We focus on provenance and finding the best ingredients to let the food speak for itself!

Our cafe menu offers a mixture of staple brunch dishes, Italian street food and intricate plates celebrating the best of British produce.

Our Micro-Bakery

As proud partners of the Real Bread Campaign, we bake using traditional methods and quality ingredients.

We hand craft all our sourdough in-house at our micro-bakery using only 3 local ingredients: Marriages flour from Chelmsford, Maldon Sea Salt, and filtered water. We also bake our signature sourdough cinnamon buns, handmade focaccia and plenty of other baked treats.

Our Story

Otto was born from the founder's love of Italian gastronomy. Not just the food itself, but how food brings families, friends and communities together.

Food & drink in Italy offer a moment of interaction between people - from a quick catch-up at the bar with a barista to an annual village fete bringing a whole village together. It's this relationship between food and people that we want to re-create at Otto.

We aim to bring the best of Italian food and customs to Essex by using high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients and traditional methods.
